Shrimad Bhagavad Gita (Silk Deluxe Edition) (Hindi)

About the Book

Considered to be one of the most fundamental texts of Hinduism, the Bhagavad Gita was written five thousand years ago. The war of Kurukshetra was about to begin. Arjuna was to fight the Kauravas, but hesitation and fear gripped him on the thought of killing people of his family. Lord Krishna, Arjuna's charioteer in the war, counselled him, saying that fighting in the war was Arjuna's duty (dharma). The valuable teachings of Lord Krishna made Arjuna rise to the occasion and become the fearless, great warrior he was meant to be. The Bhagavad Gita is the essence of the teachings of the Upanishads and, in simple terms, Lord Krishna explains the way to salvation through the paths of Karma, Jnana, and Bhakti. His sermon to Arjuna on Dharma, Yoga, Karma, and Moksha, delineates how to become a perfect human being who performs his duties even whilst facing all odds. This beautiful silk hardbound deluxe edition of Gita is a must have!
