About the Book

Basic Electronics, in two volumes, provides fundamental knowledge in Electronics. Volume-I has twelve chapters covering the topics such as Resistors, Capacitors, Inductors, Electromagnetic Induction, A.C. Fundamentals, Thermionic Emission and Vacuum Tubes, Semiconductors and Transistors, Rectifiers, Transistors, Amplifiers, Feedback Amplifiers and Oscillators. Volume-II has eight chapters covering topics such as Modulation and Transmission, Demodulation and Reception, Measuring Instruments, Microphones and Loudspeakers, Integrated Circuits, Antenna Theory and Propagation of Radio Waves, Television and Radio, Power Electronics, and Digital Electronics. Each topic has been cast in the form of questions and answers. At the end of each chapter, some numerical problems have been included with their solutions.
